One phone number and central website for NSW Government Services

A single phone number 133 679 (133 NSW) and website www.nsw.gov.au for all Government services, delivered August 2008.

Rationale

With over 100 separate Government departments across NSW, it is sometimes difficult for residents and businesses to know which department to call for information, help or advice.

This program allows people easy access to all essential Government services though a single point of contact, prioritising their needs over individual government agencies.

Our Opportunity

With over 100 separate Government departments across NSW it is sometimes difficult for residents and businesses to know which department to call for information, help or advise.

The program will improve the access, accuracy and consistency of information to the public.

  • Improved service to the NSW community.
  • Improved access to government services over the counter, arming frontline staff with better coordinated information.

  • A shared, easy to use, affordable web platform for agencies.
