Collaborative Government Services
Collaborative Government Services
Connecting people and knowledge
The Collaborative Government Services program removes technology and organisational blockages to allow easier information sharing to provide better tools to government workers for better service delivery.
Rationale…
Government services should be simple and connected. This requires increased collaboration between agencies to exchange information and knowledge, to ensure that services are consistent and timely.
Our opportunity…
Significant improvements in the way government agencies work together to deliver services will benefit the public, staff and government agencies.
Scope of the program...
- a NSW Government collaboration service to allow government workers to interact and exchange knowledge more effectively
- Communities of Expertise in Information Management and Enterprise Architecture
- development of a NSW Government Information Management Strategy.
For example…
A secure document sharing portal has been implemented for the agencies who work together to provide guardianship services to the public.
This tool helps agencies to exchange documents faster, therefore supporting better service delivery.
