ShopNSW serves both customers and agencies!
Aug 09: Shop.nsw has provided NSW Government agencies with a centralised, secure and low risk path to sell products and receive payments online.
Sixteen NSW government agencies are currently selling products through shop.nsw. This consolidated approach has resulted in significant cost efficiencies by avoiding the cost of developing multiple electronic shops within the NSW Government.
For customers shop.nsw has provided:
- a 'one-stop-shop' to locate and acquire products;
- improved accessibility to NSW Government information for disabled and remote clients.
For NSW Government agencies it has provided:
- a low cost means of providing their products online;
- a means to re-engineer their publication / product management and fulfilment;
- increased exposure of staff to e-payment methods.
Over 6,000 products were listed in the shop.nsw online catalogues.
