The New South Wales Mobile Data Radio Service (MDRS) is an advanced wireless data network, built to provide NSW Government agencies and departments with the latest data communication technology. These web pages are both an information resource and an operational tool. For those considering the service, it provides broad insights into MDRS features, benefits and management. For Agency users, it establishes a convenient, efficient interface with the Network Manager.

Established in 2004, MDRS offers agencies extensive coverage and unprecedented capabilities across a vast array of applications including public safety, mobile office, field service, logistics, public transport, remote machine monitoring and point of sale.

Already the MDRS is being used and trialled in agencies across the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area and the Central Coast.
